Passing of KCFSI Member Bill Voegler

William L. Voegler, 71, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Butler
Memorial Hospital.

Bill was a dedicated Firefighter of 44 years for the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department, where he previously served as Chief and in many other capacities.
He poured his heart and soul into firefighting, having begun in his teens with
the Mars Volunteer Fire Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and
was a PA Certified Fire Instructor. He was a member of the Unionville
Presbyterian Church and the Butler County Fire Chief’s Association. Bill will
be dearly missed by his family and his dog, Max.

Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St.,
Butler, on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 7-9PM, and on Friday, November 15th
from 2-4 7-9PM.

Services will be held at the Unionville Presbyterian Church, 1114 Sunset Dr.,
Butler on Saturday, November 16th at 1:30PM with pastor, Rev. Matthew Kail
officiating.
